Financial Benefits
All plans provide 100% of your regular pay while you’re unable to work due to a trauma without an elimination period to receive benefits. The only difference is the benefit maximums.
Students receive $100 in financial assistance per day while the student is unable to attend school due to a trauma. Family members providing supportive services will also receive 100% of their regular pay. There is no elimination period to receive benefits.
Death benefits are also paid in the event of an untimely death from a covered incident.
Family coverage includes the insured; spouse (if applicable); and dependent, unmarried children to age 19 (26 if full-time students). This includes the relationship created by a domestic partnership. Newborn children are automatically insured from the moment of birth. A dependent child must be under the age of 19 at the time of application to be eligible for coverage.
